Rejoice II Art Print

in the middle of the storm

dancing heads down chanting

bobbing in rhythm

the drummers drum

give me some give me some

that older than religion

before division

watch i multiply

back snap head up

face to the sky

arms keep time

second line shimmy stroll

soul moving care shook off

crowns on rejoicing

jump don’t land fly

yes and again become

the storm we dance the wind

know the songs of the dust

feet remember we move

we move drummers drum

give me some give me some

fire in fingertips power sound

movement thunder in the steps

transforming to endure

ritualistic alchemy physical

emanation divinely enacted

we get happy

turn melody in to sustenance

we in the devils house

so we dance stomping

shouting healing in cleft notes

sweating hope  dip to the remix

two step two step drummers

drum give me some give me

some look like free on me

becoming the whirlwind

becoming the whirlwind

drummers drum

drummers drum

give me some

give me some
