respite

by the sea

somewhere far away

from concrete & sirens

where birdss make lazy circles

over the water peering underneath

from up above diving in to capture

dinner on the fly far away from chalk

outlines grim faced children

drugged zombies & the desperate

crews that feed them dreams of life

caught in a plastic knot away

from death on the television boys

never becoming men schools that

murder brains away from the killing

fields the borders boundaries margins

gone from the scarcity the completion

the race of rats for scraps from the

plates of sheep tended by wolves

beyond the noise the grind the grit

by the water listening to the wind

barefoot in the dirt spying on the trees

because Godz are lavish

& life is abundant
